Wehba Strategy Shift

From W P Carey, quoting C. Frederick Wehba:
Then there is The Bentley Forbes Group L.L.C., which was extremely active
in the net lease arena until last year but is now exiting the sector, shifting
its attention entirely to multi-tenant assets, both office and industrial.

"There's a lot of (net lease) product, but there's not a lot of stuff
that we would do in terms of tenant credit quality," said Fred Wehba Jr.,
president of the privately held firm. In addition to seeking better-quality
tenants, Bentley Forbes is looking for better-quality assets. "Whereas before we
would just buy anywhere, and a lot of it had a net lease deal on it, now we're
trying to be more specific and pick trophy properties."

Bank of America Tower

Sometimes you will see Fred Wehba appear in the unlikeliest of places. I just found out, researcfhing the Bank of America Tower, that Fred Wehba had his own page on Wikipedia...though it seems they have deleted it.
